Our curriculum is based on the recommendations of the Central Board of Secondary Education, as well as taking advantage of our long experience in the field of education. There is a lot of emphasis on the application of knowledge. This means that the child learns every topic with an understanding of its real world application or with real examples. It ensures that learning is for life and not for an exam. Our curriculum also encourages integrated learning. Integrated education, or disciplinary education, as it is also called, is the study of several related subjects in relation to a single concept. A lot of importance is also laid on developing the inherent strengths of the child through various interesting and fun-filled activities. We encourage thinking and analysis rather than memorization and repetition.
GPS Bagodar is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi. The curriculum followed in the junior and senior classes is based on the NCERT guidelines, albeit with several innovations that have been introduced after much research and study.
